Hello, I’m Chantal!

I’m a Chilean-Australian artist and a huge mushroom nerd. I have specialised in Stop-motion animation, but I can take on any animation job that life throws at me. I’m currently located in Brisbane Australia (willing to relocate). I’m about to graduate with a Bachelor of animation from Griffith University in 2022 and I plan on continuing the development of my stop-mo skills through the Honours program.

I have worked on a few films, namely my graduate film, Memento Mori and Country Is… which was made as part of the 2021 Outback Filmmaking Bootcamp in Winton. My focus is on trying to test the boundaries of stop-motion through experimental animation and my ultimate goal is to form my own studio where I can continue to tell my innovative stories. However, at the moment I am keen to utilise my skills to bring your vision to life! Whether it be at a studio or for the sake of any freelance project.
